I don't know why I'd jinx him by saying this, but what I actually saw from Jamieson in the England ODIs was more impressive than the figures suggested. Seemed in good rhythm, hitting good areas, beating the bat.Don't know why but I'm feeling unreasonably optimistic re Jamieson. He's been awful and extremely hittable in his white-ball career to date, but there's no doubt he's talented. The Mills/Henry role of bowling new-ball overs would suit him, if there's a little movement in the air or wicket he could be dangerous. Keep him away from death overs.
Milne very unlucky though.
If he must play then I'm hopeful that, against all statistical evidence, he will be useful in snaffling top order wickets with conventional test bowling.
Anything outside of his opening spell, not so sure.
