28/5 in the last five overs, 54/6 in the last ten. Great bowling by India.

Exceptional innings from Mitchell. By rights should get to spend most of India's innings with his feet up in the dressing room.

Apart from the dropped chances, the only thing that’s got us beyond around 250 was taking to Kuldeep in his first handful of overs. If he goes for 50 instead of 73, the game looks different.

Hopefully the NZ pace attack is on song, and we hold our chances. I also hope the lack of a “proper” 5th bowler doesn’t hurt us too badly.

A shocking last 10 overs but that score of 273 still gives us a chance, we will need to bowl well and get a few early wickets to be a chance though.

If Rohit and Gill get off to a flyer again with a good opening partnership we are cooked.

This is a difficult pitch and I think you need time to get in. Ravindra looked horrible early on. Only Mitchell seemed relatively comfortable from the get go. After Young got out and seeing how well India were bowling, I was expecting a score of around 200 tbf.

We definitely benefitted from them not having a 6th bowler. Cashing in on Kuldeep and sitting on Jadeja is what laid the foundation of us getting to the par score.

Interesting money line right now:

Whereas Cricinfo has Nz as 52-48 favorites.

I’d hate to bet against India but seems a little tempting.

Jeez that henry ball moved like an offbreak. Needs to bowl a bit fuller but other than than fantastic. I like how the indians are being more agressive early, moving across the crease and coming down the pitch to keep the scorecard moving, NZ struggled with that in the first 8 overs.
