The Wheel is Forever
Hard to know for sure until both teams have had a chance to bowl on the pitch but very impressed here with the last 10-15 overs here. Bodes well for the rest of the tournament after being behind for most of the game. Good to see resilience and mental toughness from guys like Kuldeep. I am sure England will target him next game.

Really just leaving everything to Mitchell who has already sweated buckets out there. Going to be absolutely exhausted, especially after he walks into the stands and beats every person blowing a vuvuzella to death on the way back to the changing sheds.
Smithy is eating them aws

Nah this is just fantastic death bowling, pitch helpful for bowlers taking the pace off but NZ now look to be ending 20-30 short. In hindsight Ravindra’s wicket was a bit of a gift and India have capitalised.
Really could've been a way lower score if India had held their catches too. The Ravindra one early on was incredibly costly. No one apart from him and Mitchell have been able to time anything.

Why do they *always* send Lockie ahead of Boult in these situations - who is more likely to get you quick runs?
If Phillips, Chapman and Santner cant time the ball for a boundary. All timing ane no technique Boult doesn't fill me with confidence

another game where the set batter doesn't really try to manage the strike until the last over

True, this is after a subpar fielding effort too! Reflection of the surface but also how hard it is to get on top of the Indian attack.
