Aus/Pak do genuinely make me nervous. We may thrash them both, we may get thrashed. It might even be close.

I fear that most of all.
You will most probably win against SL . That leaves you with requiring 1 win against IND/SA/PAK/AUS . Very easy

So we basically need to win 2 more of the remaining 4 games (pencilling in our loss v Aus), maybe even only one. Seems doable.

SL vs NZ in recent tournaments - SL did beat us a couple of times in T20 back in 2012 and 2014... still a long time ago. We've won the last three tournament ODI matches.

2011 ODI World Cup: SL (once in group stage, once in semi final)
2012 T20I World Cup: SL (super over)
2013 Champions Trophy: NZ
2014 T20I World Cup: SL
2015 ODI World Cup: NZ
2016 T20I World Cup: dnp
2017 Champions Trophy: dnp
2019 ODI World Cup: NZ
2021 T20I World Cup: dnp
2022 T20I World Cup: NZ

We played in the 2022 T20i WC - Phillips got a century after an early collapse.

Their last good team was in 2015 as well they were one of the best short format teams between 2007-2015. Hard to compare this Sri Lanka now it certainly isn’t a big worrying fixture like it use to be
