This SL team is average.SL are also a bogey team.
NZ have a history of losing to SL in knock outs and finals when SL are better than them, but losing to teams better than you isn't really a bogey.SL are also a bogey team.
Also from an era of cricket where we couldn't play spin, while we're arguably one of the best vs spin here.NZ have a history of losing to SL in knock outs and finals when SL are better than them, but losing to teams better than you isn't really a bogey.
You will most probably win against SL . That leaves you with requiring 1 win against IND/SA/PAK/AUS . Very easyAus/Pak do genuinely make me nervous. We may thrash them both, we may get thrashed. It might even be close.
I fear that most of all.
Yeah they're genuine bogey teams for NZ. Especially Pakistan.Aus/Pak do genuinely make me nervous. We may thrash them both, we may get thrashed. It might even be close.

High chance you will meet one of Aus/Pak in SF . If you win that , then I think you are right. If we beat Oz we'll win the whole thing
I reckon a team with five wins will qualify and a team with five wins will miss out. NRR important if you're going for 5. 6 guarantees it.With all the upsets we genuinely probably just need 1
I mean we're gonna win 9I reckon a team with five wins will qualify and a team with five wins will miss out. NRR important if you're going for 5. 6 guarantees it.

Their last good team was in 2015 as well they were one of the best short format teams between 2007-2015. Hard to compare this Sri Lanka now it certainly isn’t a big worrying fixture like it use to beSL vs NZ in recent tournaments - SL did beat us a couple of times in T20 back in 2012 and 2014... still a long time ago.
