I assumed he was injured. This is really stupidity. You got the runs this over and then needlessly threw away the wicket. Really poor.

Finn Allen played one of his few good knocks and Conway played a blinder with a 92 not out, they put the Aussies on the back foot.Smashed Aus in Aus in the tournament opener last year?

It was because he had an ouchieThis is really stupidity. You got the runs this over and then needlessly threw away the wicket. Really poor.
A win over Australia is worth remembering. Usually with a nice cigar, a glass of cognac and tube of hand cream.Genuinely disappointed you guys remember T20 stuff
Absolutely true. But 2016 and 2022 were both bloody great tournaments.Nah, the previous one was a toss dominated farce.
It's not been great so far yeah. The Pak SL game atleast had a great chase and India v Australia was fun even though it ended up being an easy win, but not much else. This world cup has really lacked close games so far
Yeah, very early days yet. Positive way of looking at it. Pakistan v SL definitely entertaining because of the Mendis innings and Pakistan's great chase but the result was clear enough with fifteen overs to go and the standard of SL's bowling was gratingly poor at times. It's not been great so far yeah. The Pak SL game atleast had a great chase and India v Australia was fun even though it ended up being an easy win, but not much else.
I remember feeling the 2019 wc was disappointing halfway through the group stage (mainly because of the ran ruining the flow), but it really picked up once the teams got really bunched up in the table and each game felt important, particularly England and Pakistan coming back strong after a few stutters. Hopefully, that happens here too.
You don't see many close ODI finishes these days as ODIs are so high scoring now, they normally end in one sided blowouts. This world cup has really lacked close games so far, and yes the 2021 WT20 was truly awful.
