I wonder why Livingstone didn't get to turn his arm. I know he could easily have gone around the park, but otoh he might have made a couple of break-throughs. Not that it matters of course.
Maybe but Rash and Curran are the only likely starters here if there was a T20 WC tomorrow.

Need an Archer to lead the attack imo. Best hope Wood up for it and his transformation extends to ODIs too. Not sure how good he is with the new ball though.

For some reason I didn't think he made the squad, but I may well of been dreaming.
It hasn't been named. I'd be shocked if he was named in the squad, finished strong in the Pakistan ODIs away but didn't set the world on fire. Is he a better option than Nicholls? A bear does **** in the woods, yes.

The only news on the squad that I could find is Williamson's back which is massive and rounds out NZ's side well by giving them a solid top order to go with a gun lower order and decent bowling unit. Just need to avoid dead weight like Lockie (currently) and Nicholls. I'll take Chapman and Milne over those guys. That leaves Sodhi as the weak link but it's a solid side nonetheless.

NZ WC squad named in a week. Neither Chapman nor Neesham are going to Bangladesh due to impending fatherhood.
