How's he done bowling wise in the latest rounds? He was dynamite early season as you'd expect but his firs has fizzled out as decks have gotten less juicy deeper into the season from what I gather. Is that right?
Cricinfo now gives you last 10 games played for all players. As he doesn't play any other format handy to give you his season in one go.How's he done bowling wise in the latest rounds? Hit wicket according to the score-card.The award for most bizarre dismissal of the season surely goes to Roland-Jones in the Warks-Middlesex game.
Has anyone ever before been dismissed off a ball they hit for six?

Sounds like he did a Roy Fredericks in the 1975 WC Final, who fell back on his stumps as he hooked Lillee for six.
Now that one is odd. It looks like he stepped back against his stumps after hitting a front-foot six over mid-on. Or he hit the stumps while swinging his bat after completing the shot. That's really careless. Whereas Fredericks fell backwards after hooking the ball.video on nvplay:

Roland Jones clearly hit the bail off with his bat in the side-on replays, but impossible to tell if the ball was already over the boundary, fairly continuous movement of the bat. He didn't look remotely alarmed that he had hit the bail off.Now that one is odd. It looks like he stepped back against his stumps after hitting a front-foot six over mid-on. That's really careless.

Going back to TRJ, I suppose the question was whether the ball was still in play when he stepped back. If it had sailed over the boundary by then, surely he was not out?
Been to Bedford School to watch 2nd XI cricket, in the past, don't remember the School being picturesque, good facilities though. Big runs, good pitch. Remember it more for being the day the news of Tom Maynard's death broke.Dropping down a level, I also recently went to Teddington CC (second XI Championship) and Bedford School (Minor counties). I would recommend a visit to both as each was most picturesque in its own way.
I can't answer your question, but I can let tell you that Craig Overton just dropped a simple chance to catch his twin brother at first slip. And I don't know how often that's happened, either.C Overton ct Foakes b J Overton.
