Might be worth a hell for leather 20 overs after Tea and then declare. Need as much time to bowl Aus out and then chase down whatever's needed. No spinner and an unfit Starc should make any chase doable.
Nah. I think we make the most of them being done mentally and pile on the runs. If we bat all today and most of the first session tomorrow we should be up near 550. Should be looking to just bat once and beat them by an innings, which on this deck from this position should be more than doable.

Say what you want about Cummins as a captain but Boland and Hazelwood being so utterly rubbish has hurt them immensely since Lyon went down. This is on them as much as his poor captaincy decisions.

Crawley getting super lucky against the proper bowlers has thrown this game out of wack. Things easing up for the batsmen after the 2 batting ARs come on was a big, big concern for Australia but they've somehow not built up any pressure to relieve instead. Unexpected tstl.

If England are still going well after tea then it's going to be ten times easier to make runs there than in any second innings. They still need a lead lol.

Australia just a bit out of their depth I think.
