They could not win a test for the next couple decades and they should still be in Test cricket purely due to the historical balance they have built up.
Five years ago they were fairly bad, but at least they were somewhat entertaining and passionate. Today not only are Windies **** at tests, they are turgid, dull, and lifeless. I say that as someone who has been a big fan of them in the past.

They won a series against England less than 18 months ago! They are terrible at ODIs, but have some ability in test matches.
