BBC forecast grim. Apple reckon we should get a good 4-5 hours in. Could even be enough for a result that tbf

Cummins is on record as saying words to the effect of “no senior player will be embarrassed on his watch”

The selectors AND circumstances are at fault here

Warner should have retired last summer

Given that it didn’t happen, the selectors should have taken matters into their own hands but doubled down instead

We also have nobody demonstrably better

All can be true

Bright sunshine in the east of England. Classic Yorkshire ruining everything.

Different forecasts make it look like this could be a washout, touch and go.

No play today, note drainage is not fast at Headingley

Play likely on day 4&5 but not all clear those days either. It'll be tough batting conditions with the clouds, so Aus need 260 lead.

yeah course it’s not pissing down elsewhere but the cricket. No rain at Wimbledon or formula 1
Will no doubt be the same at Old Trafford.

The rain in the NW is biblical compared to everywhere else. Lived over there for Uni and was horrible when you were caught out without a waterproof.

Typical the real posho events of Wimbledon and Silverstone get to go ahead. But a northern cricket match and it's gonna be ruined.
