*Official* Third Test (Headingley, Leeds) 6–10 July

Ashes81

State Vice-Captain
Still pretty evenly poised with the Aussies marginally ahead.

Anything north of 250 will be challenging, north of 300 would be very tough.

Head and Marsh can be very dangerous but equally we could run through the last 6 wickets with Wood in the side.

Then it'll be a run chase to stay in the Ashes.

Going to be a big first hour where this game is heading

Aussies bat through with no loss, they will be around a 200 lead

if England could get the two in players out , then the total should be within reach

Nice to see Moeen get to 200 wkts. Australia slightly ahead but this is beautifully poised. Huge morning - probably game deciding.

What the **** were Marnus and Smith thinking? 2 or even 3 down we'd be well ahead. These two and Carey need another 100+ to make us favourites.

Rain might be the bigger story, though.

Forecast I’m looking at says no rain until 6

My money is on a result tomorrow

Would be a real shame if the weather plays spoil sport again, this is set up to be another cracker.

Forecast for Sunday looks OK for now, so if the ground isn’t too waterlogged we could get a full day under leaden skies which might be enough for a result.
