I don't necessarily hate the idea of bombing him but get two slips in do the pitch up ball is still a threat

When the inevitable defeat happens we will be treated with mind numbing sound bites and the next test will be the same batting line up

it’s a shambles in all aspects bar Mark Woods pace bowling

the batting is brittle and the amount of wickets the Aussies have taken without being anywhere near the stumps is an embarrassment

Australia have played well of course but even they are struggling in their last three innings from wicket 4 down
If it makes you feel any better, Cummins has bowled one ball that was going to hit the stumps in this innings

International Captain
This morning was England's last chance to change batting approach, and show they had the capability to add some nerve to their aggression, possibly turning this series around. Doesn't look like they've felt like taking it, except for the captain Stokes, tbf.

They're confirming all the negative stereotypes people had about them and their approach going into this series. Barring some heroics, I'm not sure where they're planning to go from here, as I don't see them doing much or having the heart to pull out this Test.

Thats emphatically Mo's last test match.

Whos pathetic idea was to bring him back from 'retirement' ??
Whos idea was it to continually play Bairstow a w/k?

Tail might wag for 50-60 runs cos of injured stokes thats about it.
Um, according to Eoin Morgan he should be captain in the next one

Five minutes to lunch, worth a dip at it and reassess over the break
Yeah it's like the general idea but more the field they've set. The full ball is still a real threat here but it's very hard to bowl with this field

Once again, the sight of anyone below seven turns the bowlers into retards. Maybe try one yorker amongst that lot.
