I may be biased but I love Mark Wood. Gutting he's had so many injuries as he's top class.

Brought the WC trophy to Ashington CC for us to all get a chance to hold.

He was canny as owt. How he is on TV/Radio is just how he is.

Quality he did that for the club. That’s awesome stuff

Tough test for Smith. He's been relatively comfortable against medium pace on some slower pitches this series, but recent (post-2019) tests would suggest he'll struggle here.

I don't understand where this idea is coming from, smith averaged 53 in 2021 and 58 2022, it's not not like he's fallen off a cliff

I think he played some minor cricket league stuff for Ashington which whoever played them must have been over joyed to see him running in
