Overall had a very poor series for sure. For all the talk he has some catching up to do with premier all rounders like CdG and Thakur.
It wasn't great by any stretch but he played a couple of vital innings in the first test and even in the last test, sort of played out the bumper barrage for a while

I mean its not like he is having a Kohli 2014 in England like series. He is contributing
