Well it's more Dean Elgar than the David Warner of old, but this, "I'll work a few around the corner while seeing off the new ball" Warner sure beats the 2019 iteration.

Yeah, impressed with how long he managed to stick it out in difficult conditions.

Certainly justifying the faith the selectors kept in him.
