i have neighbour with parkinsons. needs a full time carer at all times. his wife does a great job but she needs a bypass surgery this month. am helping out with groceries and stuff. not a pretty sight

We know how it works. It's caused by a dopamine deficiency. All our treatments (not cures) are dopaminergic compounds.

What causes it though is a bit of a mystery. Mostly genetics and there are theories about environmental factors.
