Sarfaraz Khan give the guy a chance

At this point if he wants to play international cricket he better off moving to England and play county cricket here for like 2 years before he can actually get picked by England :D
they dont give citizenship to someone after 2 years in England slippy and that would mean he gives up his Indian citizenship

He not wanted in India, yeah he would lose ipl contract but he can play 20 20 leagues all over the world so he can make up the loss of that.

**** yeah give the fat man a run, his stats are just ridiculously good. If he fails so be it.
there was a piece on cricinfo recently that raised some valid points hb mentioned here before, most of his runs came at 5 or below and he hasn’t played well enough for India A

his fitness is also truly awful, the comparison with Rohit is ****. Rohit may appear fat but he isn’t a liability in the field or when running between wickets which Sarfaraz is and this is from someone who has watched him play in domestic matches before

hving said all of that i will still pick him for a series and give him 1 match just because someone averaging 80 in fc should be getting an opportunity of some kind while Pujara Kohli Rahane got 3 years playing like ****

In my opinion the whole fitness thing is just cricket trying to copy soccer and other sports that are contacts sports ..Sure it wouldn't be ideal if you had an entire team of overweight cricketers but making an exception for one or two guys on the heavier side wouldn't really cost you that much ...

Guys like Rangana Herath , Vernon Philander , Inzamam Ul Haq they weren't particularly athletic but won a heap of games for their country ..

The 5 or below thing doesn't really hold water. It's too much of a sample, and besides runs at 5 translate to 4 and and even 3. I don't know what kind of new ball aces he was needing to be hidden from that is relevant.

Nor is his India A performance, as he continues to play well at FC level. His non-selection plays a huge role in invalidating the whole FC structure in India, if runs there simply don't matter for selection.

its what i believe too hence why i want him to play, players like Gaikwad aren’t half bad but they shouldn’t get in because they did well in 1 fc season and a strong ipl

I agree. Jesse Ryder was the 2nd most naturally gifted NZ cricketer I've ever seen (behind Bond). His weight wasn't a problem
