Fkn Athar's lost his voice from talking way too loud into the microphone. The best thing to do would be to keep talking unnecessarily loud to see if it goes full circle and fixes itself.

okay i could be missing something but didn't shanto debut as a dreadfully poor fast bowler who they picked to bat low and bowl like four overs a game or am i mistaken on this one

He's a decent bowler I think. Had a fantastic start to his international career after being a gun in U/19s and then lost a couple of yards of pace after an injury and was complete substandard for a while. Only 22 years old and has had some decisive performances to help Bangladesh win (white ball). Jury's still out on whether he's good or bad IMO.

Guess good day for us. The pitch always had something esp first day but due to mostly poor bowling by afghan pacers and spinners, we piled a decent enough score for this pitch. I thought its going to get flat on day 2 but cloud cover made it to remain same mostly. Watched only highlights though. EbaGoat Express got some good bounce to trouble afghan batters

I think ODI cricket has improved Bangladesh tremendously, it's opened the eyes to selectors that you can achieve great results if you invest in fast bowlers and now its rubbing onto Test Cricket

the South African coach they had previously put a lot of emphasis on wanting better fast bowlers and conditions for them even at the cost of results, that may have turned their thinking with the newbie quicks coming through

I know it takes time for things but we still lack a fast bowler who can bowl 145+ consistently. Its not a mandatory criteria but would have been nice to have one in the pipeline.
