I was hoping the days of struggling on at 5.5 an over in a T20 were over under Hathura but here we are

Thay was a really good executed run chase by Bangladesh after losing 3 wickets in the power play. Got to nearly 10 runs an over after power play

Towhid Hridoy beast

I love him. Always stands up under pressure, has consistently made runs and looks a real talent. He seemed to come into the team later than some of his peers (who are also young as ****) but so far he looks the best of the lot. I hope he's a good red ball player.

To be fair Afif looks more talented than all of them and has had the odd heroic innings but he's failed a lot and has a loose technique. Will need time to figure out international cricket, whereas Hridoy looks closer to being ready.

He had good fc season already scored a double hundred. Also ppl seen him in white shirt said hes even a better red ball player and he avg nearly 50 in list A. I have high hopes for him more than what I had for Afif. Afif plays some spectacular shots now and then but he fails more often. Where as Towhid Hridoy is solid in all aspects. His pull is just too good. If Towhid Hridoy does not become best batsman for BD for the next 10 years or so then nobody will.

Wow, that's a ringing endorsement. I hope this happens. I was surprised the other three (Joy, Afif, Shamim) debuted earlier than he did.

Sylhet pitch is so good. The batsmen get value for their shots, there is seam movement plenty and outfield is lightning fast. My favorite stadium in BD.

never had a huge amount of faith or much respect for the worthless duck method, but today's strikes me as way off beam

Afghans make 116/7 in their 17 overs, now Sri Lanka scored their target 119/4 off 16.1 overs with 5 balls to spare ie had 17 overs also. So how was their target only THREE runs more than Afghans scored, even without any fudgerigars they'd need to score ONE run more so for the lost play they only had to score two more runs than they would have without fudge sundae

pffffft, lanka would have probably won every which way on Sunday but frankly you expect worthless duck targets to involve a bit more than two extra runs in a chase - a dozen instead and might have been an interesting finale

Sri Lanka is op if they played a test in the morning in Galle and a t20 in the evening in Sylhet

Duckworth Lewis does not react kindly to teams that lose a lot of wickets ..
