Whatever it takes!!!
Feeling glad for Stirling. Feeling bad for Balbirnie.
Healthy over rate by SL. 117 overs 4 sessions.
Yeah they are actually 3 behind. How so?
67.5% of the overs are spin.
13.8 overs per hour.
The internet tells me 31 feels like 39 in Galle.Yeah they are actually 3 behind.
Although given the oppressive summer conditions, it is understandable I guess.
Yeah, that's poor even in the heat considering the proportion of spin. How so?
67.5% of the overs are spin.
13.8 overs per hour.
Hume can bat, two ferrets otherwise though. Can they get 500?
Amazing
Picking Dockrell as a bowler in the first Test even though he's pretty much given it up really showed what they thought of their spin stocks.I think Ireland's bowling is so unpenetrative in these conditions SL will have little trouble getting a big total.
I've only watched a small selection of highlights from the last test, and they looked about as good as an ACT Premier 2nds side.Picking Dockrell as a bowler in the first Test even though he's pretty much given it up really showed what they thought of their spin stocks.
McBrine was alright, but yeah it was grim otherwise. This was the bowling form their #2 spinner was selected on for the first Test, and it very much showed when he came on to bowl:I've only watched a small selection of highlights from the last test, and they looked about as good as an ACT Premier 2nds side.
Not enough time to win by two innings this time IMO. Improvement from Ireland.Sri Lanka to win by an innings (or two).
