Meanwhile in NZ it is miserable (autumn but feels like winter). It is often bad weather for Anzac Day though (NZ and Australia's day for remembering our former and current soldiers).

Picking Dockrell as a bowler in the first Test even though he's pretty much given it up really showed what they thought of their spin stocks.

I've only watched a small selection of highlights from the last test, and they looked about as good as an ACT Premier 2nds side.

McBrine was alright, but yeah it was grim otherwise. This was the bowling form their #2 spinner was selected on for the first Test, and it very much showed when he came on to bowl:
Humphreys is just a kid but at least he still actually bowls in matches, so hopefully it's an improvement.
