Which is great for regional ND too. Did you hear the rumour about where ND want club cricketers to play if they were going to be selected? That's ridiculous if true. There is a Hawke Cup challenge today, Canterbury Country are hosting Waikato Valley.
It’s the Valley’s first ever Hawke Cup game in their 20 year history, formed after an amalgamation between Thames Valley and Midlands, they’ve been really strong over the past 3-4 years. Gone from **** kickers along with Poverty Bay to matching it with the traditional powerhouses in Hamilton and the Bay of Plenty.
Generally most Northern Districts first class cricketers have come from either Northland, Counties, Hamilton or the Bay, but in the last few years the Valley have produced quite a number. Zak Gibson, Jake Gibson, Matt Fisher, Kristian Clarke, Chris Swanson and Tim Seifert.
DIsappointing there is no Zak Foulkes for Canterbury Country in that challenge match. He isn't playing for Canterbury last round either. There is a Hawke Cup challenge today, Canterbury Country are hosting Waikato Valley.

I wondered about Foulkes missing this round, hope he's not injured.DIsappointing there is no Zak Foulkes for Canterbury Country in that challenge match. He isn't playing for Canterbury last round either.
Fisher did well in his four dayer against India A too.Ugh. Sneddon. Bound to get picked as part of the hegemony.
Fisher and Dudding with decent returns. Can't say I've seen anything of Dudding - unfortunately for Dudding looks to be mainly in one game against the batting of Wellington.
Seems pretty simple to me, just pick the guy with the lowest bowling average, put him straight in there.Current PS season bowling stats if you're considering who should be next in line for the NZ side.

I've seen Dudding. Medium pacer who gets pretty good bounce. Our answer to Will Williams.Ugh. Sneddon. Bound to get picked as part of the hegemony.
