This is by far the best new ball spell I've ever seen him bowl. I wonder if getting some runs first has aided his confidence (like Broad often did).

Stokes is at his best when the wickets are tougher to bat on and you need a calm head to get the team over the line. He's done it 3 times in massive matches and the type of wickets you often get towards the end of ICC Tournaments.

It's Curran v Woakes which is now a more interesting battle.

Interestingly, aside from the cricketing side, if you think who in the England set up could follow Stokes in terms of being a leader of men, I'd struggle to think of anyone who would be a better candidate than SCurran.
