Feels kind of dead this morning.

Home side started really poorly but 30/0 off the last 5 overs against the spinners has the whiff of recovery about it

So is Vince injured and out of the game now? I'm relying on cricinfo and your updates this morning.

Looking at the scorecard, Curran had another good game with the new ball and Moeen's bowling average in ODIs is pushing towards 50.

It should've said trod on the boundary while fielding I think.

England seemingly keener to get overs into Rehan and Moeen than Rashid. Pitch looks easier to bat on against the spinners than the seamers. Or it might just be that Bangladesh are more comfortable against spin.

I'm struggling the remember the last time we played two leg-spinners in any format of the game. Maybe Atherton sent down a few in a game when Schofield or Salisbury played?

Not too dissimilar to the first match. Bangladesh should've been heading to 270+ but are losing wickets too often.

A full 10 overs for Ahmed (the only one likely to complete the full amount) who took a caught and bowled off his final ball. Rashid has only bowled 5 overs. England clearly using this game to try things out.

The main difference being that our seamers had a lot more joy than our spinners today, so hopefully it won't be as tricky a chase.

The most confusing thing that could happen is a Salt hundred.

I think he knows that with Roy and Malan getting runs here and Bairstow returning soon he needed a proper score. Seems correct to be furious with that dismissal.

In game terms, actually a quite useful powerplay innings to get England ahead of the rate. They should win this but there's not many wickets before we could end up with Curran and Ahmed trying to put on an 80+ stand.

Arguably this does expose a bit of a weakness in the England side, in that Moeen and Sam are great coming in after 35/40 overs and being required to smack it around, but if they have to come in after a collapse and build an innings then they might struggle.

I think, with Salt, it's less about forcing his way into the side for this year's WC and more about putting himself in pole position when we start building for the next one in a year or so, given the age of our top 3. The first one was never very likely at all, but he hasn't done himself any favours regarding the second one either.
