Players tend to operate at a level that suits them, and everyone's different. It's possible that Sehwag's ideal mode of scoring is a SR of 80 and any change in that wouldn't actually mean his average would be higher. It doesn't make him any less valuable as an attacking player, that value is massive. But it also means that just because he slows his scoring doesn't mean his average will be higherSR of 60 is still high but not dangerously high. It would allow Sehwag to be aggressive most of the time but be able to restrict himself when need be.
