Jadeja? Can't even lock down a spot in his team...Who is the best player of all time that would not be selected in any XI in history?
Other than their own XI.Who is the best player of all time that would not be selected in any XI in history?

You'd be discussing all the same players wouldn't youSounds like we need a who is the inverse of the worst player of all time that would be selected in every XI in history? thread

First step would be to identify the worst player of all time to play Tests.Who is the best player of all time that would not be selected in any XI in history?
Yeah I don't subscribe to that a Hassett can't make that team. All one needs to do is have Walcott or Kanhai keep; have Worrell or Sobers open; or be light on bowling -- he'd always be selected.Went through scorecards of games involving Sobers+3Ws. They always played Collie Smith, Denis Atkinson or John Goddard (last 2 as white captains?). Laxman/KP/Clarke can definitely replace them. WI were extracting some bowling from these players though. I don't know how big a factor was that. Clarke could decently well or was it just against India?
Lol yea I get we've gone a bit overboard with the Jadeja memes (or have we? Clearly not...) but arguing that Jadeja wouldn't be the very first name on that teamsheet is mental.Pollock and Jadeja comfortably makes the teams in their respective arguments lol Dilruwan Perera?!
Yeah I get it but it would be a similar bunch of players on the borderline in bothInverse
Nah they mean someone so **** they can't get picked. Like Bangers players from the Habibul era or a kiwi spinnerYeah I get it but it would be a similar bunch of players on the borderline in both
It's gotta be Murali.Best player who fails to make at least some XIs - would be a pacer who is not better than WI quartet and also adds little to the batting.
Walsh for my money.
In a strange way this can be an argument for Murali > Warne lolIt's gotta be Murali.
WhatIt really boils down to this:
Is it better to have been the best worst player in the history of the game who will make most XIs or to have been the worst best player in the history of the game who wont make most XIs. Frankly, I think the best worst player in the game to make most XIs is still better but YMMV.
