NZ's NRR is now well ahead of Pakistan's. Even if Bangladesh somehow have 2 big wins in their next 2 games, we will be in the final unless we get absolutely thrashed.
Haha yeah, Pakistani cricketers have had so many blokes that look absolutely fantastic in their late 30s and early 40sPakistan cricketer ageing is mad. Afridi has finally admitted he’s really 58 years old but he actually still looks pretty young. Waqar was old and beaten up 25 years ago when he was 25, but somehow still doesn’t look very old now. Sitting next to him is Craig McMillan who is completely unrecognisable from himself 25 years ago.

You are a wise and insightful man Zinny...and your top 6 excites me. But let's not pretend it's 1% chance of happeningGood signs seeing NZ batsmen hitting some long balls this series. Allen today with that 108 meter monster, and 3 other >90m blows & Chapman 107m the other day. With that sort of power, you can still clear 75 meter boundaries even if you 3/4 hit it.
Bring Guppy back & get Chapman in the middle order & suddenly we have a pretty strong & aggressive top 6 with a good mix of lefties & righties. And all good ball strikers.
Allen
Guptill
Conway
Phillips
Chapman
Neesham
Leave it to me, I'll write to Kane to offer him the following inspirational literature... https://www.hindustantimes.com/cric...new-skipper/story-aff5chhaSc2hziTKyMlItN.htmlYou are a wise and insightful man Zinny...and your top 6 excites me. But let's not pretend it's 1% chance of happening
You can really appreciate passion in a man when he is furiously running the numbers on a random T20 tournament that I didn't even know had a final.NZ's NRR is now well ahead of Pakistan's. Having now seen Macewell interviewed a couple of times he is uh….not exactly the alpha male to fit the narrative. Makes supposed soyboy Jimmy Neesh seem like a lad and/or larrikin by comparison tbh. I dunno maybe Macewell delivers lots of misogynistic remarks in the sheds or something.
"Look at the broad smile on that rodent. Smile while you can, Macewell. My Wiccan group meets again at the end of the month..."
think about who you're replying to.Having now seen Macewell interviewed a couple of times he is uh….not exactly the alpha male to fit the narrative. There is only one Lord of Cricket...From hence forth, as the previous Lord has retired, I will now refer to our opener as Lord Finn of Saint Kentigern
I am always unsure if his passion is for cricket itself or cricket related subtle trolling on CW.You can really appreciate passion in a man when he is furiously running the numbers on a random T20 tournament that I didn't even know had a final.
This is why I love CW
I saw the Macewell interview yesterday too and all I could think was awwww what a nice guy. I'm not even sure he has the ruthlessness to run his agribusiness.Having now seen Macewell interviewed a couple of times he is uh….not exactly the alpha male to fit the narrative. You've left out Mitchell, probably unintentionally - hoping he doesn't miss the whole T20WC. I think he, Phillips and Chapman can be grouped together in T20 - all prefer to get themselves in but can be destructive once they've done so. Can play the big innings, not just a cameo off ten balls like we ask Neesham and Bracewell to do.Good signs seeing NZ batsmen hitting some long balls this series.
