Yeah, I knew you would come up with the usual excuses. "He doesn't get a continuous run of games! Jacque Kallis failed for his first 21 test!" Blah Blah Blah. Since he didn't play in the first two tests, he already has a built in excuse for failure. It wasn't part of a continuous run so it doesn't count!why is that it for Mulder? Does he not even get a series to try get accustomed to international cricket. Or is he only allowed one test per series after the team batting lineup consistently collapses and meant to fix everything in your mind or else be dropped again?
Hey, you got what you were screaming for , Mulder in for one of Jansen/Ngidi/Nortje and we see the results. The usual failiure with the bat and 0-11 of two overs instead of the control Ngidi would provide with the ball. If SA end up pulling this out of the fire, it will be entirely due to the efforts of Rabada, Jansen and Nortje skittling England. Mulder will not be any more useful with the ball than he was with the bat. The whole rationale for his selection falls apart. He dosn't provide balance; He breaks it weakening SA's strong suit (Bowling) without in any way strengthening the batting. How much longer a rope should he get.
