This sums up Stumped BQ perfectly....
Its just the consistency of high BQ balls going for runs and lower BQ balls getting wickets... I still think BQ is a number that misrepresents the quality of ball regarding wicket taking ability.yeah he should have slogged that one and got another six![]()
Trust me this is not TMOs format... you gonna get this easily.Schmaltzberg on the way to a gut-wrenching one-run loss again just like Tuesday
Yes this is known. (Although, your really big wicket of the day fell to a 9/10 ball.)Its just the consistency of high BQ balls going for runs and lower BQ balls getting wickets... I still think BQ is a number that misrepresents the quality of ball regarding wicket taking ability.
Yeah.. reading on the forum I think it indicates more where the ball gets pitched than anything else, along with the quality of the batsmen facing it. Doesn't seem to represent any movement or batsmen being deceived.Yes this is known. (Although, your really big wicket of the day fell to a 9/10 ball.)
this is why I keep bowling Menno Fouche (poker-faced 24 skill) for MorporkSo its almost worth throwing in a poor bowler (or low L&L) on occasion that has a trait like partnership breaker or F&G and/or with decent movement/variation, because they take extra wickets. I have not tested that fully though...
You have to get the timing right... and maybe only bowl one or two overs.this is why I keep bowling Menno Fouche (poker-faced 24 skill) for Morpork
it does work, but it's unreliable and the longer he bowls the worse it works, it feels. (You can see from his OD friendly record the failure mode)
the Xenos/Ijaz pairing has really blossomed into something truly monstrous while i was away huhTwo wickets in the first over for Alex Xenos, but the TMOs have weathered the storm well after...Davidson and Kock are slowly rebuilding the innings.
30/2 after 7
Yes, they've been quite lethal of late....only recently have I let Xenos bowl the first over. He's much younger than Ijaz, and I just felt that his unorthodox action can make things happen. Ijaz on the other hand is more of a backup bowler...he doesn't have any 'bowling' traits...only speed lol.the Xenos/Ijaz pairing has really blossomed into something truly monstrous while i was away huh
