Just did exactly the same. Fmd they're terrible. Bunch of random singles down to fine leg but not one of the pivotal moments of the day.
they have an AI system that does their highlights based on crowd reaction. it ranks them all then puts all 3-5 in, and usually some of the others.

hit a friend up who works for them and he said it's very surprising that the CdG-Stokes non-dismissal was missed. he's gonna look into it haha.

Ha, I expected it was AI based but did not know it was based on crowd reaction. Woeful bit of coding anyway, their domestic T20 and women's world cup highlights were worse though.

Its amazing how bad cricket highlights are, though. For a sport that is often played during business hours, or overnight, it should be a vital way of broadcasting the sport.

Best packages I've seen was back when CH4 had English rights, used to include Mark Nicholas voiceovers of the momentum shifting micro-highlights etc (eg. Maybe a sequence of play and misses, or an explanation if the run rate dryng up etc) to get the narrative of the day across.

The england highlights are generally pretty good, they miss some reviews and include a few too many pointless singles and doubles but they do there job. WICB upload fantastic highlights, takes them a bit to get them out but both the short and long versions are good. CA are also pretty decent, and they do great highlights of all the domestic highlights in the season too.

Haha that's amazing. So if you could get the crowd to do a cheer at a random dot ball it would make it into the highlights.

Now this is how it ought to be done!

That was an excellent idea Kane, to bowl over 90% of the overs between three quicks
Think they’ll probably bring in Wagner for the next test to manage the workloads all around. Kane must have missed him big time yesterday, especially when CdG had to go off. So far his response to dealing with Wagz’ absence (first seen on the India tour) is to bowl the other frontline seamers to the ground, hope he has a rethink.

If Wagner is out of sorts could they consider Henry as an extra seamer? He must be pissed that Boult was able to come in at the 11th hour and take his spot for a Lord's test after Henry's recent performances (although I understand the rationale having the left armer).

Forecast on my app is no showers until 1500 in London but it’s not always the most, um, reliable

Looks to me like it'll start at 11 or 11.30 and we'll get a result before lunch. Heavily overcast though, which will be good for NZ.
