As you say only one innings etc.Haven't checked in to this thread, but is anyone worried about Kane long-term? Just looking to gauge the consensus
Not a follower of the IPL, but that dismissal of his was extremely tentative. Basically a floaty half volley from Potts which he's prodded at with no conviction whatsoever. I know how the glide to third man is his 'go to' shot, but maybe he needs to look at tightening up there and putting away that shot?
EDIT : Maybe half volley is harsh, just short of driveable length.
It is a good test so far
Darren Stevens is still playing red ballAnd now Potts is off injured, and we're already without the services of Archer, Stone, Wood, Robinson, Woakes, Mahmood and Fisher. Maybe TRJ will have to join Anderson and Broad in the next match after all.
Anyway, NZ all out now, so lets see how out batsmen do.
Average now almost 40 (39.63) while striking at 80.CdG having a nice little late-career renaissance with the bat. Too bad it’s coinciding with the top order going through an alarming drop in output.
Should be enough for a handy 1st innings lead...So it's NZ 132-10 in 40 overs. Wonder if England can match it?
Omfg, this needs to happen.Darren Stevens is still playing red ball
Not disputing that but Potts was selected and handed his cap prior to Parkinson being picked. He literally started playing for England before Parkinsonboth debuted in test number 2464 sir
Thought you were in bed ages ago.Southee hooping it, no real swing for Boult
