Haven't checked in to this thread, but is anyone worried about Kane long-term? Just looking to gauge the consensus

Not a follower of the IPL, but that dismissal of his was extremely tentative. Basically a floaty half volley from Potts which he's prodded at with no conviction whatsoever. I know how the glide to third man is his 'go to' shot, but maybe he needs to look at tightening up there and putting away that shot?

EDIT : Maybe half volley is harsh, just short of driveable length.

Yes it's a huge concern, just can't seem to find touch in any way.
Lack of test cricket and 2 kids may well be hampering him, but hopefully he'll kick back at some stage and find his best again.

Getting to three figures almost puts them in a commanding position against this lot to be fair

Haha, pretty sure I heard Trent Boult laughingly say "NO!" when he saw Lord Colin already halfway down the pitch for a second there. Lord Colin fancies a red inker here.

"British-Bangladeshi Robin Das on 12th Man duty for England Cricket against Blackcaps at Lord's ?His parents are originally from Sunamganj and he is currently playing for Essex county."

Investigations still ongoing as to whether Craig Overton was the first to have a chat to him.

Gotta love Boult's new habit of declining a run before the ball's even hit the pitch.

Why oh why did it take so long to bowl potts
He's just walked off with a sore calf 10 balls into his spell, maybe not feeling up to it. Really have to question the shot selection from not just latham and young but also blundell and mitchell. Blundell and mitchell both got starts and threw it away to **** shots. If they'de batted it out then they'de be facing down a tired jimmy and broad who have both sent down 10+ overs a session, stokes and then root/other part timers.

Dark. The joke, not the player in question
