I don't know. A 43 pot bat will generally go for a stupid amount, but with low starting skills + opener trait with not-great SS and defence I dunno how good he'll be. As a keeper, he isn't great, but is servicable.

So I think he'll get a fair bit, but he could go for just a few thousand if you are unlucky. Who knows.

So my 39 skill bowler with 17 variation gets hit for 18 off 4 balls but the oppositions number 9 who’s part of a 22k rated tail.

Im not 0/3 in response

Think that game was hacked tbh.

But seriously, you had a 1-6-2 field. Of the #9's four boundaries, one was a good shot, one was an edge, one was through the infield, and one was hit poorly to the outfield.

Anyway. You won. Just.

SOD v Morpork: lol at them having an 18 touch 41 skill bowler, bought off the TM for nothing. It wasn't Faiz Saad who caused the AXI batting lineup to crumble, however. It was Fox and Clarke with four wickets apiece. Only Branning looked up to the task, with an unbeaten fifty. We managed some early wickets, but good knocks from Bhatti, Fouche, and Mthabela brought the home team, er, home.

Oh don’t get me wrong - I took some liberties but Brampton gets the job done at the death against much better sides and players than that with similar fields

@Marcuss I have a 43 bat currently on the market not going for very much... might be worth hanging onto Megana if he can be at all useful.

PS: Clear your messages!!!

A 43 pot bat would make both FHK and ZCC's Dev XIs atm, so yea not a bad idea to hold onto them.

Just transferred a bunch of youngsters to FHK, where they will be receiving their severance packages. Sad.

In other news, Danial Ahsan has now formally taken over the captaincy of the ZCC T20 team, with the aim of grooming him to eventually lead the senior team in both formats. Arif Jalal will remain as the SOD captain till the end of the season at the least. 16 year old seamer Ewen Rockall takes over as the full-time Dev XI captain, which should give him a solid 4-5 seasons of exp by the time he steps into the senior side!

Its the hope that gets you... finding a 63+ avg bat in scouting that ends up only have a max potential of 32...

On the market he goes, with a 40 bowl potential; lucky if he is not rejected in a few days.

Fantastic innings from Burger today, with some good bowling. Was never gonna win but allowed us to put on enough runs so that all the bowlers got some IGT. Unfortunately management made mess of the bowling orders! So thank you Burger! Also Levy is starting to build into a consistent contributor which is great for the long term prospects of the TMOs.

I do effectively treat a lot of the competitive games as an exercise in IGT but pushed a bit too close for comfort by winless bot Free Flamingoes in today's T20. Won by 15 runs successfully defending 96. At first I thought ideal - everyone got a bat and 18 overs of the 20 bowled. However a 40 run stand for the 8th wicket rescued us from 44-7.

Free Flamingoes also ended up needing 23 off 22 with 5 wickets left before collapsing.

A tough loss for GG CC today.

They started the match sitting on 7th place in the standings, so I decided to go ‘gung-ho’ with the batting.
Bram Human fell for a golden duck after 18 runs came in the first over. Mark Jardine (23 off 21) came in at number 3 and stabilized the innings for a bit with Peter Sutherland (26 off 10).
The wickets fell at regular intervals with the guys who got starts never really settle for the long haul…Cornelius Human top scored with 30 off 31.

In the end, GG were bowled out for 145 with 4 balls left in the innings.

The defense…

Babar Ijaz struck with his first ball but this only made way for a 70-run second wicket partnership. Kasun Obeysekere made a double blow to bring GG back in the game for a brief moment, but it was not enough.
The target of 146 was chased down in 17.5 overs.
Obeysekere was the pick of the bowlers with 3 for 10 in 3 overs. Ijaz and Xenos took one each.

ffs India have enough gun players. Great stamina + Unorthodox, he's going to bowl 10 overs of doom straight through
It’s gonna be fun having him in the team, he’s gonna share the dressing room with the 17-year old Sadiq Ismail (who himself is also a RFS and is currently 25/48 in bowling).

I can’t see GG CC CG being a dust bowl tho lol ?
