Where does head fit into this ODI team when everyone is back? Warner and smith walk in, marsh/stoino at 5, carey 6, maxwell 7. Only slot is marnus at 4 and even then he's been good at #4 and that spot has been a scarce resource for us since bailey and clarke stopped getting gigs.

Head is such a weird player. Looks cod ordinary a fair bit of the time then suddenly plays an innings where he’s a god playing on a different deck to mere mortals.

You have a fine captain in Cummins.
Head will replace Finch as an opener.

Carey can also be tried as an opener ala Gilchrist

He did it twice in the Ashes too. He’s like Doug Walters. When he has a good day it doesn’t matter where he’s playing and the bowling all comes the same to him. He’s a rare - and sporadic- talent.
