You just summarised a generation of West Indies batsmen......Athanaze is another one with a temperament issue. Mad talented though.
Frustrating....You just summarised a generation of West Indies batsmen......
Honestly Root is twice the bowler Leach is. I'm trying to remember if I have seen Leach turn a ball more than a little bit all day? Root turned two in his first over. Not a bad ploy from Root to bring on himself against the two left-handed batsmen at the crease.
Now Lawrence gets one to turn to dismiss Athanaze. Leach really being shown up here. You can look at the scorecard and see he's got 2 wickets. But if you watched the game you would realise he was tres ordinary and gifted two wickets to straight ones.Honestly Root is twice the bowler Leach is. Dowrich was camped on the backfoot tbf. That one looked like it kept a bit low for Dowrich.
Lawrence the wrecker.
It was a very slow pitch but it has to be said the England attack looked pedestrian. The best seamer in the match has clearly been Sherman Lewis and the best spinner Bryan Charles. Which is an odd thing to say when you look at the scorecard and see the two teams totals. But Leach barely turned one off the straight until the tailenders came in at the end and England were gifted three top order wickets through a run out and two wild slogs against straight balls from Leach.progress for woakes. wicketless but at least he didn't go at 4s
Good Lord I don't understand why this guy keeps getting picked for trial matches etc. Can the selectors please use their eyes? How on earth is that technique supposed to cope with international bowling?I honestly don't rate Mosely at all. He is an opener who doesn't know where his off stump is, he doesn't run well between the wickets and he's not that great against spin.
It might sound controversial, but I don't think he gets a look in if he's from Guyana or the Leewards.
