Leach has got two of the dirtiest wickets imaginable here. Mosely and Carty playing wild hacks.

I guess Keacy answered my question about his FC average. You can;t play shots like that.

A contrast between Reifer and Carty is that Reifer waits for the ball to come to him and he plays his shots...Carty was more premeditated in his strokeplay....this is against the spinner.

Not a bad ploy from Root to bring on himself against the two left-handed batsmen at the crease.
Honestly Root is twice the bowler Leach is. I'm trying to remember if I have seen Leach turn a ball more than a little bit all day? Root turned two in his first over.

Now Lawrence gets one to turn to dismiss Athanaze. Leach really being shown up here. You can look at the scorecard and see he's got 2 wickets. But if you watched the game you would realise he was tres ordinary and gifted two wickets to straight ones.

Hard to believe that Woakes has been selected for another overseas tour while Robinson being injured is no surprise

England obviously didn’t learn anything from the Ashes

It was a good ball to get Lees out, but I felt that he should have left it alone.

Now we have Stokes at number 3.

This is gonna be interesting.

progress for woakes. wicketless but at least he didn't go at 4s
It was a very slow pitch but it has to be said the England attack looked pedestrian. The best seamer in the match has clearly been Sherman Lewis and the best spinner Bryan Charles. Which is an odd thing to say when you look at the scorecard and see the two teams totals. But Leach barely turned one off the straight until the tailenders came in at the end and England were gifted three top order wickets through a run out and two wild slogs against straight balls from Leach.

Batting looked in good shape though. Stokes looked pretty good before getting given out lbw to one that was going well over the stumps (welcome to Caribbean umpiring, good luck averaging much over 30 in our cricket!). Obviously Root looked good in the first innings, Crawley looked good in both innings and Bairstow eventually played himself into good form after a very scratchy start. Too early to tell with Lees, I thought he looked good if limited in the first innings and then he got out pushing outside off stump in the second innings (he will be toast if he does that against Roach).

I honestly don't rate Mosely at all. He is an opener who doesn't know where his off stump is, he doesn't run well between the wickets and he's not that great against spin.

It might sound controversial, but I don't think he gets a look in if he's from Guyana or the Leewards.
Good Lord I don't understand why this guy keeps getting picked for trial matches etc. Can the selectors please use their eyes? How on earth is that technique supposed to cope with international bowling?
