If I know our wpd, the 92-93 relegation he wrote about the other day likely surprised him less than everyone else.
It certainly wasn't a surprise on the final day as we never did a thing against Arsenal and Southampton looked like the sort of mid-table softies that Oldham could probably beat when they needed to. But I didn't see it coming after the win and infamous lap of honour against Middlesbrough. So that final run of matches being enough to scar anyone is the best defence I can offer.

I'll take posts that aged badly for 10 please.
Blimey, good result for you lot, and I'm not one to chime in, in defence of a Slimer, but unless the word "great" has been devalued as much as Putin's chance for Nobel Peace prize over the last week, I'm not sure Lillians comment can be too derided.

A post from three weeks ago sliced and taken out of context that is entirely accurate. Celtic and Rangers are both extremely mediocre. They rarely both fire together, but at least their joint mediocrity might produce a rare title race - which is what my actual uncut post said.

I take it all back. Rangers must be the best team in Europe, with Dundee United who they failed to beat at the weekend a close second.

God I just really hate watching Xhaka play these days
Apart from the obvious (strikers) upgrading on Xhaka should be a big aim for us in the summer. Cedric is playing ok but the drop off from Tomiyasu to him is concerning too.

yeah I mean I dunno even what he is meant to do in the side these days, just always seems to be running (plodding) around like a headless chicken and his link up play is usually garbage

I think putting his rather large wages to better use in midfield should be the priority. Granit and Jose can be best buds in Rome next season.

Pogba's been our best player this past month by miles.

All part of the plan...

tbh I actually looked at their recent form after my previous post, and it has been dire. Maybe this will be their year, so to speak. Although I think that Leeds are probably worse unless they get something like their first XI on the pitch before too long. As for Brentford, speaking as a neutral, I do fear for them a bit. I hope they'll do enough to stay up, but the EPL is a tough ask for a promoted side that's lost form and/or confidence.
That backline Bielsa sent out against Liverpool boggles my mind. HELP US KALVIN PHILLIPS! YOU ARE OUR ONLY HOPE!

Pogba is talented, but ultimately its not going to work out and he and Bruno can't coexist in the same team sadly.
We don't talk about Bruno. (Couldn't resist)
