I think there's been a few decent signs tbh. But it's just always been a tough tour for SL for whatever reason.

They need to play more games as a team. And away, especially in SENA. But its always the toughest tour for them. Hopefully they learn and become better cricketers.

Lol 13 overs in and this is the first post on tonight’s game. This series must be losing money hand over fist. No one is interested in it at all

Did they bring back Kane Richardson into the team to try and make things competitive

Yeah he took like three for **** all last game. Actually bowled pretty well tbh.
Daemon still makes a rare good point about this attack though.

SL falling in a heap here. Thought they might push 160-170 after the start they got

Wait, there are 5 T20s in this tour? Thought it was over with 3 games!

Isn’t it normally just a couple of games before the ODIs start up?

Yeah but you have the world cup later this year in the same place. Makes sense to play as many games in this format as you can while you are here.

Agar is opening because the selectors want to experiment pre WC. Bit wonky but same stuff won us last T20 WC with marsh at 3, let em go crazy.

Love what Inglis has done this series, no massive scores but has come in and played the match situation exactly how he needs to handle it. Manages to go at a good 140 odd Sr down the order without having to play big shots consistently either, just rotates the strike and uses the a mix of good cricket shots and reverses/ramps to find the gaps.

Hopefully the selectors continue to back him at 5, a top 7 of
1.Warner
2.Finch
3.Marsh
4.Maxwell
5.Inglis
6.Stoin
7.Wade+

Looks so much better then the same but with smudge at 5. Finch's form is a big concern but backing Warner last WC paid dividends and with the batting depth we have carrying him is ok ATM

Wouldn't take too much from the bowling bar what we already knew since this Lankan batting lineup is horribad. Kane rich is good depth, jhye doing well is also nice to see. Don't think same should be in the team over Ellis of he's at 8, not an international standard bowler.

Agar opening will never become a thing. Not entirely sure why they're doing it but presumably keeping Stoinis and Wade @ 6 and 7 for continuity's sake and so they can hone those roles.

Agar is a very weird choice to bat at the top though when basically every other player in the top 7 playing this game has done it more at every level and with a lot more success
