As with most drafts, I fly by the seat of my pants.
I still only have 9 players while others are completing their teams. Without an order and a recent selection update I'm hoping I can jump in with my 10th pick.
Anil Kumble (India '86-'90)
Not sure if you can jump in yet.

I think this is the right order.
@ankitj with a catch up and @Jfry 2 picks (one for round 9 and one for round 10). Both can pick now.

Then hb (Cric Addict), and so on back through round 10 (go back about 3 or 4 pages and reverse the round 9 order). A couple of them finished early as there remaining picks (teams and years) were free just for them. You (@Line and Length) were quite early in round 9 so you'll be later in round 10.

I went back to page 14 to check and neither of those you mention could take an India/'86-'90 combination. I then checked those with a Round 10 selection before me and, at that stage, only Trundler could take that combo but he subsequently took Shastri so his India selection was complete.
I hope my reading of the situation was right.

Yes, you are the last to pick from India so no harm jumping in.
Tactically though you would be better leaving kumble to R11 since no one else can pick him and waiting for your r10 pick from the 2013s

Yes, actually you are fine. If you look at Teuton's table just above you are the last to pick an Indian player so go for it.

Is it too late to follow Teuton's advice? If there are no objections I'll do so within the hour.

Make my Round 10 selection Rahmat Shah (Afghan. '13-'17). There are no players with a possible Afghan/'13-'17 combo up before me. That means I'm free to select Kumble as my final pick. Thanks for the advice @Teuton

My team:
1. A.Gilchrist (w/k) /
2. Upul Tharanga /
3. R.Richardson (c) /
4. Rahmat Shah /o
5. R. van der Dussan /
6. Inzaman-ul-Haq /
7. R.Berrington /o
8. Mashrafe Mortaza o
9. Anil Kumble o
10. D.Underwood o
11.E.Chatfield o

Strong batting line-up though some batting lower than preferred position. On paper, pace attack (Chatfield, Mortaza, Berrington) is thin but good spin options.

Yes L&L. I understood that. I wish to check how it will be done for other participants like me who do not have that option.
I guess it will depend on an official Round 10 (reverse round 9) and Round 11 order being published. I must admit, I was initially surprised to see participants finishing their teams while Round 9 was incomplete.

Would bat Bish above Starc. Great job man. :) I was not in the state of mind to go through with this but this is a very good side, all said.
