Hameed always looks iffy defending on off stump stuck in the crease with the bat coming down at that weird angle. Cummins pretty much the dieal bowler to exploit that too.

haydos laying into warnie for his starc takes is so glorious even tho i don’t inherently disagree with a lot of warnie’s takes as regards starc

Having a good series, Mitch Starc. Been terrific in Adelaide and here for the most part.
He's improved so much since his first few series 6 or7 years ago where he could only take wickets by bowling yorkers.
He was a yorker specialist at one point.

this is some crazy level from both starc and cummins. warnie completely dead wrong in his criticism of starc. hes lethal and is first picked if fit. this is the best spell of pace bowling in the entire ashes so far. jhye and hazlewood coming in next game makes the aus pace attack the world's no.1.

Clipping rather than hitting. Not convinced it gets given if the boot was on the other foot.

Holy **** that was close. What a ball!
If he got his legs out of the way, he would have been bowled.? It's only got to hit some part if given by the umpire.

he was a mercurial yorker specialist up to before the adelaide test to be fair, it would have not been a bad decision to drop him before the first test per the performances he has been throwing up and i would argue he only really got the start because of aussie selector loyalty

Malan wasn’t unlucky

He got pinned on the crease by a quick, straight one

Would have been lucky to survive

how much can aus fiddle battling lineup chase max though vs anderson and co on this swinger? probably 120-130 might be the max. so they need to get england out for under 200. still game on.
