I changed the 11You can't drop Robinson
Because shortening an already **** batting line-up to allow for 6 genuine bowling options in a pink ball test is a genius move.I think so that Woakes should stay in the 11. Unfortunately Pope should be dropped to accommodate Bess (who can bat a bit - and also brings variety to the attack). Woakes looked good in patches both with the ball and the bat at the gabba therefore I think he should stay at bat as high as 7. Wood is a must ( when it goes flat , Wood is the man who has the extra pace to get a wicket out of nowhere and he also got out smith). Broad and Anderson are also a must under lights as the pink ball will swing consistently and that is when you wan't Broad and Anderson in the team.
1. Burns
2. Hammeed
3. Malan
4. Root
5. Stokes
6. Buttler
7. Woakes (Also very good swing bowler - important under lights in Adelaide)
8. Bess
9. Wood
10. Broad
11. Anderson
A good offspinner will do well in Australian conditions , like Graeme Swann.Including bess because it’s australian conditions is interesting logic tstl
ConfirmedReports for Australia is that Hazlewood might miss due to his side strain.
Bess at his best is a good bowler with nice revolutions on the ballBecause shortening an already **** batting line-up to allow for 6 genuine bowling options in a pink ball test is a genius move.
Leach got carted bowling perfectly ok, what makes you think that Bess will do any better. I saw a good bit of him in the lions game and he's still serving up the same tripe he was in India
Ok I agree that Leach is a better and more consistent offspinner than Bess , but how is England going to put Mark Wood at Number 7Bess at his best is a good bowler with nice revolutions on the ball
They reaaaaaally won't unless they've had a ton of experience in the conditions and can go at ~2.5rpo, which Bess will categorically not.A good offspinner will do well in Australian conditions
By the way I changed my xi to thisBecause shortening an already **** batting line-up to allow for 6 genuine bowling options in a pink ball test is a genius move.
