He should know better. That sir is relevant in all threads. How dare you? This blasphemy has been reported
Writing off a player after a bad first couple of tests, even shockers like Bracey's, would be wrong, but I am genuinely surprised that he still seems to be in the frame to the extent that he is at the moment after doing as badly as anyone I can remember getting a call-up. I won't criticise a show of faith in someone the powers that be consider to be a prospect, thoughI see James Bracey made a ton for the Lions against Aus A... shudder. But Foakes also got runs and should've been in the Test squad.
It's a bit short on bowlers. I'd add a couple more. What are your thoughts now on this 11
folks
Bess is a bit young to retire after the 3rd Test.A good offspinner will do well in Australian conditions , like Graeme Swann.
I'm not saying Bess is anywhere close to Swann as yet , but he gets nice revs on the ball and when he has confidence and is bowling well , he is as good as any English Spinner.
Bracey - good player. One of England's best against NZ 6 months ago. Give him the gloves and bat him at 7 in Adelaide.I see James Bracey made a ton for the Lions against Aus A... shudder. But Foakes also got runs and should've been in the Test squad.
No seriously I hope he can have a decent international career (probably as a specialist bat) after such an awful debut series. I trust he's better than an average of 2.66 would suggest.Bracey - good player. One of England's best against NZ 6 months ago. Give him the gloves and bat him at 7 in Adelaide.

Is it because i made it?I think we need to delete this thread and start a new one. Awful so far
Can't see how they can drop Ollie Robinson, Wasn't he their best bowler in the first test?I think so that Woakes should stay in the 11. Unfortunately Pope should be dropped to accommodate Bess (who can bat a bit - and also brings variety to the attack). Woakes looked good in patches both with the ball and the bat at the gabba therefore I think he should stay at bat as high as 7. Wood is a must ( when it goes flat , Wood is the man who has the extra pace to get a wicket out of nowhere and he also got out smith). Broad and Anderson are also a must under lights as the pink ball will swing consistently and that is when you wan't Broad and Anderson in the team.
1. Burns
2. Hammeed
3. Malan
4. Root
5. Stokes
6. Buttler
7. Woakes (Also very good swing bowler - important under lights in Adelaide)
8. Bess
9. Wood
10. Broad
11. Anderson
