Downplaying how bad indias batsmen are at playing swing pre series, call us overly pessimistic and then do a shocked Pikachu when india keep getting bowled out for sub 300 every game. I'm surprised Cw hasn't gotten tired of this routine yet good god.

The only reason we semi competed in individual tests in 2018 was because Kohli had an amazing series (with a healthy share of luck) and Bumrah bowled great spells every game. They both look pale shadows of their 2018 versions atm.
Hmmm I wonder how many times I should keep bumping this

Whatever it takes!!!
Lol. none of Pant, Pujara or Rahane's were jaffas. KL was unlucky to be given out LBW IMO, coz I think most umpires would have ruled it not out. Rohit, Virat got genuinely good ones, Virat's the best of the day. Jadeja's was a good one too.

He got too far outside leg stump and then went crossbat, which ****ed it. Might have got some value from it with a straighter bat.

Someone called on crapinfo that INdia will 150 a.o and England will be 105/2 at stumps. The only glimmer of hope is that England may not have time to get 105

KL looked pretty dead to me, when you build that much pressure it might not look like a jaffer but the cumulative effect is the same

Maybe but he was jumping outside off and most umpires wont give that. It was still umpire's call, so I dont think it was dead or plumb for sure. But my point was that even allowing for that, we have given away at least 3 wickets to balls that were not really difficult to play or anything. At test level, you need to handle those balls.
