Ivan Lam dismissing Frost an Du Preez in the first 3 balls won us the game IMO. Shaffrey and Dee fell quickly too and then the rest was a formality. Really good innings from Nathan Law too.

Yeah. So often (unless Frost and Saadi hack together an opening partnership) it seems that the fate of my long long batting lineup rests on the shoulders of du Preez and Clift.

Tough loss in my dev league. Yes it was to the unbeaten #1 but it was only 3k ratings points in it and we took wickets throughout, but in the end fell just short of a bonus point.

I've also refined my rankings somewhat so it now takes margin of victory into account (for those of you mathematically inclined, it assigns a probability value to the margin of victory and then inputs that into the ELO calculation for the match) and also weighs CWC3 matches a little more heavily.

Winton's fall is partly due to the new ranking method and partly due to losing all five matches in this ranking period, also it is very tight between 6 and 11.

Well that was unexpectedly quick. Some luck with dropped catches. Nicely finished by TMO stalwarts in the end. Think the middle order run outs really hurt ZCC today.
