Stumped!

A brilliant platform being set here by DynMorp's openers. GG's are having a hard time breaking this partnership....Might well be chasing over 325

12 pops here too lol. In a SOD against @Marcuss yesterday I managed to keep them down to 158 on a flat pitch, so the chase was fairly straightforward.

Currently having a T20 vs Moooo, and they're in a bit of trouble at 51-6 (13).

Hi fellow web creatures,

Looking forward to my next CWC match tomorrow. It gives a friendly meaning but without fitness cost (sadly no £ either!) and with 4 bots in a couple of my leagues provides a match that isn't an exercise in game management but just in putting out the best side you can for the conditions and hoping for a good match.

So I'm up against one of Garlic's teams tomorrow. A quick thanks to Stephen of the Orangutans also for his friendly request ! Don't forget to post your orders everyone :starwars:

:) Should be a good contest, the junior Dynamos still have a few players with very low skill relative to pot but they're popping pretty fast.

Elsewhere Morpork recruit Stefan Coetzee is torturing ZCC for Setemares, and Morpork will probably be chasing 250 in a league match against a fairly decent opponent - picking three DEV bowlers in Arnold, Sharif and Savundrayanagam might have been too much

Enjoyable game today. Jayant Marita showed they were worth their hefty price tag with a century in a fairly comfortable chase, though when both Hughes, Fouche jr. and McGrath got bowled after putting on starts I was a bit worried.

Highest rated team in the league, Leggs Eleven, pulled 55k ratings so I should probably try to pick up a 36+ skilled bat or 38-39 skilled bowl with decent XP before playing them.

I had a pretty remarkable SOD, even given it was a bot bash:
  • 407-5 is the highest score for the club
  • a 360 run margin is the biggest victory by runs for the club
  • Jan du Preez's 133 (82) is the club highest score, surpassing Nicky Clift's 131 (99), also in a SOD bot bash. In just 9 games du Preez has equalled the most centuries
  • Bobby Shaffrey's 77 (82) is his 22nd club 50
  • Richard Simmonds' 63* (54) is by far his best score, his second best being 32. Not bad for a 20 skill bat (with just 4 attack skill, most of his shots being attacking)
  • Rusty Frost's 3-16 is his 10th 2-fer in a row (only 3 of them in bot bashes). Included in those 10 games are scores of 73* (56), 62 (28) [bot bash], and 47 (55). Great all-rounder, only a 17yo as well. A personal favourite.
  • Kurt Murdoch becomes the first AXI player to 100 games. Frost is second on 98. There have been 108 total club games, excluding tutorial friendlies.
  • Juan Goliath's 4-12 is his 23rd club 3-fer

Hopefully it bodes well for me as I've got two matches vs Morpork very soon: a friendly T20 just started, and then my CWC3 match is also against Morpork.

Also was just perusing through the Hunks squad and there's a $20 wage player. I'm sure Odin would want him. Shame his name isn't Phil...

Two good OD wins on Friday. Raun and Sajith pulled off a spectacular run chase, while FHK did FHK things on home turf. Agnes Chow top scoring was good to see.

Comfortable wins in CWC2 as well. Tim Chester impressed against Winton CC (playing as the only spinner), while skipper Tin Yau lead us to an unassailable score vs Schmaltzberg.

Sorry @Magrat Garlick - I've just hopped onto the TM to look for a new bowling coach (now that someone has finally put a bid in for Naveed Farid) and spotted former ZCC legend Keiran Gooch up on there.

I hope you don't mind me swooping in with a bid. Have put in a max of 100K for him :p

In 30 min or so the first of 2 games that is likely to help determine the wooden spoon position for cwc3 development XI starts between the MTOs and Mooo. (Sorry @SillyCowCorner1). May the better spoon win!

(Unfortunately due to prior commitments the management of the MTOs is unable to watch this match live, but expects the best from his team!)
