Pretty pleased to come back online to a trio of victories.

Significantly less pleased to note that I haven't got a non-bot game until 4 August. Then, demonically for condition, I've got three human games in a row. That condition-hating trio is mirrored near the end of the season. And unless new teams join, I've got a dry period of no human games from 13 August to 22 September. Ah well.

I'm going to need frequent friendlies to stay interested, lol.

Surprised the Hunks rate so high. GG CC, ataraXIa and Schmaltzberg need to arrange a few friendlies with them to knock them down a few pegs.

GG CC won by 79 runs defending 241/8
ataraXIa won by 52 runs defending 223
Hunks the only ones to lose a game, smashed by 7 wickets in 27 overs after scoring just 178. Massive ratings gap tho tbf.

thanks for the link and in regards your rankings - that's plenty or work and good imagination - Have you written about it before , would be interesting to know more on how you calculate it m maybe it is already on here somewhere?

There was a bug where the game simulated the first round of games with our default XIs and dated the games as 1st Jan 1970. It's very weird, I think it happened during the fixtures generation process.

I've raised it up on the forums and Tonks has informed Rob, let's wait and see if they'll fix it. For now we're accepting that result as canon and just rolling with it

Nothing fancy, just Elo ratings. I've worked a little on it over the years and know that it can easily get too complicated

Dropping catches and not taking wickets is a sure fire way to continue to lose matches!

My DEV match is probably the closest rn, 76/3 but finally with the acknowledged batsmen in as I put some allrounders and allrounders in training up top. Both cnerd and Stephen don't seem to have enough runs on the board
