Don't see him getting the shove, but I suspect he'll retire from all international cricket after the T20 WC. I'd initally wondered if he might stick it out until the next One-Day WC, but he hasn't made runs at any level this year so I think his horizons may have drawn nearer somewhat.

Also want to add how nice it was to see that innings from Root, seems like a while since we've had one of those where he's calm and serene but still makes a good score striking @90

As much as Sri Lankan cricket is lurching from crisis to crisis these days, I must say I am glad to see Chameera bowling so well, remember being pretty impressed with him in NZ a few years back now, then he broke down, came back and didn't do much.

Looks like he has still got good pace, but is a more controlled and reliable bowler these days

It's a thing that three players had to be sent home. They were the three with the spottiest record on discipline. Avishka Fernando tearing the calf, Oshanda Fernando getting fever and DDs falling off the bed and injuring the hand are hilarious stuff, especially the last. I am pretty sure DDS might have been drunk when this happened. Provided the latter two have improved, they have to be drafted in and poor Pathum Nissanka has to be relieved.

Hasn't really played much Odi since the WC to be fair, Was scratchy vs aus and was rested vs india.

looks like a heap of nonrounders here (i believe in DDS but other than that i'm unconvinced) but that is definitely a team annoying enough to jag off upsets every now and then which for the current state of sri lankan cricket might not be the worst thing
