The attitude is fantastic, the execution a bit lacking.

NZ's bowling has been relentless this game. Southee's two drops aside the fielding has been excellent too.
Absolutely, it's the attitude that gets me. They've made it worthy of a final, where I don't think everyone - or really many at all - thought they'd give it this much of a crack, and especially from 4-5 down early.

Southee and Jamieson have been outstanding, Boult is just not the bowler he used to be. And to pinpoint a time, for me it'd be on the day of and following the World Cup final. I found it really revealing that in an interview with the Cricketer (I think it was) he refused to talk about that day.

73 but it'll probably just be at 7pm
Got to get them in under 23-25 overs. I can feel the pressure will start to tell if this partnership survives 10 overs.

150-160 in 45 overs definitely gettable. Anything over that in lesser overs it can become uncomfortable.

Let's go Kyle...

50 overs 180 to chase I think that's what India will be targeting if these two stay for a little longer.
I think pressure will be completely on batting side in such a pressure scenario. For NZ it will be ideal to restrict India under 150.

That dropped catch really haunting us. Game would be just about in the bag by now. As it is, I sense a very, very nervy chase coming up
Yeah, would have capped off a red-hot spell from KJ and got an earlier crack at Jadeja. Still, exciting finish in the offing.

Whatever it takes!!!
We won't lose the game that's for sure but winning will be become harder and harder every extra over this pair bats.
It will be interesting if it is a carrot scenario. Say 200 in 40 overs or 180 in 40 overs. You know India will bowl short of length and make it hard to score initially. Do they survive and then try to go for it later? What if they lose a clump of wickets say between 10 and 20 after having been no loss for the first 10 and looking very secure? It will be a blockbuster finish for sure either way. Kinda feel like England does not deserve to host such a great game though.
