Conway to do what he does and end the match with a fairy tale win? Are cricket gods smiling on Devon today? It'll be amazing if he can get us there.

If there's one guy I can bet my last dollar for the chase it's Conway. Time will tell. Exciting stuff..

No way.. been saying this even before we left our shores. You guys don't want to either believe in this team or being ultra modest. For the first ever time I've feel confident about this team so let me enjoy it a bit saying that in open :laugh:

packed leg side ring and full at his legs angling in from wide of the crease from over the wicket. hopefully that works.

We can bat out time that's not a problem. You see our guys are brought up on these decks from day one If they decide to leave the ball they can for a long time. Every batter in the side upto no 6 is built on this skill since they first played a competitive game as a young kid.

Scoring runs at good clip that's the hard task. We're not accustomed to that generally. Indians on the other hand are more accustomed to playing shots. Generally they get out blocking or not able to leave confidently. Barring Pujara of course.

The point is your top 6 may also try to score runs for the win and get out. Which means its your bottom 5 that will have to do the defending. I will honestly promote KJ to 4 but dunno if KW will.

I really don't rate Pant at all, and he's certainly no "generational talent" like spark described but at the same time i really rate pant, if that makes sense? Would not discount a big 150 today.

Also we really need to talk about trent boult. He needs his action put back together. The present version is not as good as fit lockie ferguson. Total ball on the hip merchant.

He'll score quicker :thumbup:

On this deck Bumrah can cause Conway a concern if he goes body line.

Agreed. Boult's not getting dropped unless he averages 50 season upon season, but he's a shadow of his former self.

Nah not required. The first 15 overs will dictate if we go for it or not if it comes to that. Conway will go for it anyways. Couple of wickets go Kane will steady and others will play around him.

The question is not whether we can save the game it's whether we can chase.

Entirely depends on how this partnership goes after lunch.

India is battle hardened they won't drop down dead they'll definitely cause few tremors in the NZ camp.

nz will lose with 2 needed while southee plays a straight drive that'll hit ishant's fingers and runs out the non-striker
