How do you name a place "Surrey Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty?"
Isn't that a bit up itself?

Are we talking about the same place that added the sobriquet "Great" to their name themselves? How do you name a place "Surrey Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty?"

It's a designated thing for conservation, not something a town or something can just name itself. There's a few of them around the country, the "AONB" areas on the same screenshot mean the same thing, not sure why Surrey Hills has it written out in fullHow do you name a place "Surrey Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty?"

Good idea in hindsight, but at the time they weren't to know bad light would curtail play that early.Did New Zealand miss a trick by not sending in Wagner late? He could have resumed whenever play starts again and have a swing. New Zealand needs to up their run rate now that they have established a foundation.
Probably brings back fond memories of towering fast bowlers like Garner, Ambrose and Walsh. Jamieson certainly seems like a superstar - first autograph I have asked for since I was a teenager ?ian bishop has more of a boner for KJ than we do
Oh there are more of them? Doesn't that kinda diminish the value of the term "outstanding?" (or beauty?)Objectively NZ's day by a long way

Yeah the name probably oversells them, they're not (necessarily) unique in anyway, just niceOh there are more of them? Doesn't that kinda diminish the value of the term "outstanding?" (or beauty?)
Congrats but that's an awful sigProbably brings back fond memories of towering fast bowlers like Garner, Ambrose and Walsh. Jamieson certainly seems like a superstar - first autograph I have asked for since I was a teenager ?
it's a level below national parks, which means it's pretty but can still be sold out to developers if necessaryOh there are more of them? Doesn't that kinda diminish the value of the term "outstanding?" (or beauty?)
Still not as bleak as Portsmouth - a city a few miles up the coast to the East that probably still looked vaguely post-apocalyptic when first built and bathed in sunshine.Looking a tad bleak, although pedestrians don't have their brollies out. https://www.webcamtaxi.com/en/england/hampshire/southampton-ferryterminal.html
Yes. I do see a tense final day. I think it'll either be a low scoring contest with NZ looking to chase 150-odd with not much time or alternatively India looking to bat out the day after NZ post 400-odd.The excitement of test cricket nipped by the weather gods. This is one test match you wanted no breaks.
I'm sure today is a call off
The last timeless test was the fifth test between England and South Africa at Durban in 1939, which was abandoned as a draw after nine days of play spread over twelve days, otherwise the England team would have missed the boat for home.
That's pretty terrible actually. They're good posters and if they're avoiding this thread because of that then CW is poorer for it.my favourite thing about this match has been how howe or gimh haven't popped in here much because we'll make fun of their june rain thing
